People often think that in the Old Testament, they only see God as one of judgment and condemnation. However, as we see from the prophet Jeremiah, God is pleading over and over again that God's people would turn once again towards God. As far as God's people had drifted from God, they were never too far gone for God to call them back. The same goes for us. We are never too far gone that God is not still relentlessly pursuing us.
