Every day we evaluate the cost of purchasing something or doing something on a variety of levels. Is it worth it, a “good buy”, what are the pros and cons? In similar fashion, people often evaluate the cost of following Jesus, and even Christ himself taught specifically about the cost of following Him in Luke 9:57-62.  He describes three different approaches to that question and three different kinds of disciples in these few verses.  It poses the question for us, ‘What kind of disciple are you?” How do you, personally, evaluate the cost of following Jesus?
