Young at Heart, October 17

Young at Heart is planning a special event for October 17th at the North Carolina Museum of Art.    Participants will be guided by a docent through the upcoming exhibit The Book of Esther in the Age of Rembrandt at 10:30 am.  This 50 minute tour focuses on  Queen Esther from the Bible in art and popular culture as depicted by Rembrandt and his contemporaries.  Ideas of political and religious freedom in the Dutch Golden Age are expressed in the art.

Lunch to follow at Bella Monica restaurant nearby.  Reservations are required for the art tour plus a cost of $20.38 per person.  RSVP  to the church office by October 10th.
