Christmas Bazaar, December 5-6

The Bazaar will be Friday December 5, 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm and Saturday December 6, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in the Orange UMC Fellowship Hall

This year, the annual Christmas Bazaar will feature a refreshed format and a variety of new ways to contribute. Preparations are underway to create an event that offers something special for everyone, whether through donations or participation.

Please consider donating baked goods and home-canned items, and use this opportunity to revisit cherished family recipes.

A new feature called "Tried and True" will highlight gently used jewelry.   If you have any earrings, necklaces or bracelets that you don't wear anymore, you can donate them.  We'll ask a standard price: $5 for earrings, $4 for necklaces, and $3 for bracelets. Look through your jewelry box to see if there is something that someone else might like.

A "Christmas Now and Then" will feature Christmas-themed items that you no longer use.  Is there a Christmas platter gathering dust since you no longer host the dinner?  Some ornaments or knick knacks that stay in the drawer (or the attic)?  Placemats, towels, potholders, etc.?  This is not a "Trash and Treasures" -only jewelry and Christmas items are being considered.

Please consider donating an item or helping us secure one from a local business. We're looking for a variety of donations to create an exciting and diverse collection of items. This could be anything from handmade crafts and baked goods to tickets for local events like a Duke basketball game, a show at DPAC, a Hurricanes game, or a Durham Bulls game. Please complete this brief form to either list your own donation (crafts, tickets, gift cards, etc.) or sign up to ask a business from a pre-made list. Signing up helps us avoid multiple people asking the same place! Please see the list of businesses and use these when completing you form.
