"For I am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made."

Psalms 139:14

At Orange we value children as an integral part of our family. We feel that is our responsibility to do our best to nurture and grow the children up in the Christian faith. As teachers and leaders, our role is to provide a foundation of experiences on which children move toward a maturing faith and a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ, through which we become more like Christ living in our everyday lives in the world.

Orange Preschool

OrangeUMC Preschool program is an outreach ministry designed to provide a safe, loving environment where children grow spiritually, socially and emotionally. The preschool began in 1984 as a mean of providing quality early education availability to our members, but has since grown to serve 100 families. Ann Marie Ingram

I am a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill. This year, I am completing a Political Science and Public Policy double major with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Outside of my classes, I am a Senior Staff Writer for the Carolina Political Review, a Peer Educator for Embody Carolina, and a member of Wesley Campus Ministry. I love working with kids and have a long history of doing so in churches as well as at summer camps.

McRae Scott

I am a junior at UNC and am majoring in psychology with a minor in Chinese and social and economic justice. I spend most of my time participating in Wesley Campus Ministry, volunteering at Club Nova, or babysitting. I love having fun with children and hope to one day be a child and adolescent clinical psychologist. I also enjoy studying the Historical Jesus and criminal justice reform.
