We are glad you stopped by!! No matter who you are or how you came across Orange United Methodist, we are glad you’re here! Orange is a diverse church, founded in 1832 with a long history in the same location. We believe in acceptance and equality. As a community, we strive for unity and oneness in Jesus Christ. Our church has people of all ages from infants all the way up to seniors. Young families find a strong children’s and youth program here. For over 20 years, a weekday Preschool program has been offered at Orange. And there are several adult Bible studies, Sunday School Classes, Young-at-Heart, small groups and Missional Communities. So young, old, and anywhere in between, everyone is welcome at Orange!
Here at Orange UMC, we offer both traditional and contemporary worship experiences. Three different worship services take place here on Sunday mornings. Nursery is provided from 8:45am – 12:15pm in the basement of the Education Building, Room 106, but children are welcome in all services. Children who stay for worship are invited to pick up an activity box for their use during the service; just ask a greeter or welcoming team member.
8 am – Traditional Service. This intimate gathering in the sanctuary celebrates Holy Communion weekly.
9 am – Pathways Contemporary Service. The largest of our Sunday services, held in the fellowship hall, combines a contemporary worship style with a contemporary praise band. Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month.
11 am – Traditional Service. This service, also in the sanctuary, uses the traditional United Methodist Church’s order of worship and includes musical offerings from our chancel choir and other talented musicians. Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month.
